I recently came to the realization that I haven't posted any graphics in nearly two years. It isn't that I haven't been making them; I have been making them less, but I haven't ever really stopped either. I will make banners or icons on occasion, usually for myself. Many of them do end up sitting on my hard drive where they collect dust, and I'd like to start posting again. I do miss working on icon batches, and I still find it fun; I just never really felt like I had the time, which is unfortunate because I tend to find playing around with my graphics program relaxing (until it crashes and I lose my work that I haven't saved anyway).

Since it is the holidays, I've brought you some Christmas stock icons and banners. As always, let me know if something looks off (I've been worried my coloring lately...I feel very rusty). ...And this post may have come earlier if the internet had not decided to just go out in my area.

Messing around with screencaps/actual people because I haven't in a while (as such, this post feels a little hit or miss), so I was playing around with coloring to see how it would work on Glee caps. I also decided to do a couple of things with composition that I don't normally do. Please let me know if something happens to look grainy. I'm a bit concerned about that at the moment. Also, I'm in love with Bruno Mars at the moment, so you get a few text icons with song lyrics on them. :)

I know it's been a rather long time since I posted any graphics. I didn't really have any motivation, but I'm trying to look around at resources and other graphics to get some inspiration back. I would like to post here more often, so that's one of my goals at the moment.

Meanwhile, I've had this set of icons on my computer since ...May? I'm not sure why I never posted them, but here they are. I do not know if I'm going to do more from the series or not. It's hard to say at the moment because a few months ago, I was more than happy to work on these. It will depend on how I feel later. I was mostly playing around and seeing what worked with the animation. I've mostly discovered that I need to figure out how to color the caps without making Pikachu look like a lemon-y blob.

Found a bit of inspiration for cropping when going through some David Tennant pictures (apparently he's good for that). I also wanted to practice with some black and white images since I don't do that often. John Mayer has quite a few, so there you go.

It's been a while. I haven't had much inspiration for iconing, so this was sort of an exercise to get me back into it. I just don't have a subject that I'd like to work with right now. If anyone has any suggestions, throw them out there. I can't guarantee that I'll use them (if I don't know it or don't feel it, I just can't), but hopefully some will help me out a bit.

According to the rules, I don't normally do this because I have no time. The lack of posting lately should be enough of an indication that I don't. However, since my classes have ended, I do have more time on my hands at night. Since it is the holiday season, I'm offering icon requests.

My computer's been a mess lately. I had to do some serious clean up to it. I might have posted these a little earlier if I hadn't had to mess with it, but everything is mostly back to normal now. Anyway, I was playing with the radial blur and textures on some of these (not really sure how I feel about them...probably wouldn't use the radial blur again). Also, please let me know if the coloring is too vibrant on certain icons.
